Hi there. I’m Crystal from Orvis Customer Service. Since no one has answered your question yet, I did a little research for you, and here’s what I found out:
These gloves are not waterproof. They will guard against moisture building up from your hands, however if put in elements they will not be waterproof.

are the leather gloves unlined ?
these look like a good present for my brother-please tell me if the leather is unlined, so he'll have the option of wearing either alone or with lining
