Hi there. I’m Megan from Orvis Customer Service. Since no one has answered your question yet, I did a little research for you, and here’s what I found out:
The safe can be placed on any surface that can support weight upwards of 400 pounds.
(The safe is also designed to be bolted into the floor to prevent theft and concrete would be ideal for this option.)

Hi there. I’m Crystal from Orvis Customer Service. Since no one has answered your question yet, I did a little research for you, and here’s what I found out:
This item has 14 1" bolts. The purpose of the key is not to lock the safe, it locks the dial so it wont turn while its closed or opened and the relocker protects drilling and forced entry.

How is interior configured?
The safe was opened and dismantled and put in place before I could see the interior configuration. I was not able to see the correct way to assemble shelving. Is there a picture of inside or instructions?
