Hi there. I’m Megan from Orvis Customer Service. I noticed that a customer has not answered your question, but the answer is
that we offer these in men's sizing only. A woman may be able to wear a men's shoe, if she does not have narrow feet. To convert a men's shoe size to a women's shoe size, please add 1 1/2 to the men's size. For example, a men's size 7 1/2 is about the same size as a women's size 9, however it will be slightly wider than a women's shoe.

I have owned a pair of the Gokey Boat shoes for 8-10 years and I wear them both ways. I have them on with no socks right now. Please take into consideration that this leather is fairly heavy and your feet may take a day or two to get use to the leather without socks.
