the Sporting Border jacket,Beaufort jacket, and classic Beaufort jacket.

The other answer is actually incorrect. Both the models you mentioned are actually the same size. The classic is a re-release that is supposed to resemble Barbour coats from the 1930's. The real difference is that the classic is actually treated with sylkoil and the sporting is normal wax cotton. Apparently each is equally effective at repelling rain, snow, wind, etc. but the sylkoil will be softer (but oily) and the other ones is heavier. Also, the classic only comes in olive color....the other one comes in 4 colors but no olive. Ironically when most people think of the Beaufort they think of a wax cotton jacket so it is somewhat ironic that the sylkoil coat is considered the "classic." Some people have commented that the wax cotton ages in a more fashionable manner.....in the end all of this is a choice of preference.
