This orthopedic dog bed addresses both issues with therapeutic memory foam covered by a highly absorbent fabric on the sleeping area and bolster. A water-resistant, breathable liner traps accidents without letting liquids penetrate the memory foam. Cover is removable and washable. Imported.

Hi there. I’m Crystal from Orvis Customer Service. Since no one has answered your question yet, I did a little research for you, and here’s what I found out:
This item is washable, so you can remove the cover when you want to wash it. For the most part you should not have a huge problem putting the cover back on the bed. The foam is snug however that will be your only problem with the cover.

Is the cover for this sold separately?
I bought this bed with the tattersall cover a few years ago. Now the berber top is coming apart & I need a replacement cover. The replacement covers for this bed show a sage one, but it's the same as my other one, not the super-absorbent cover shown on this bed. It looks like it is more durable. Do you sell it by itself?

What density is the memory foam?
What density is the memory foam? 4lb, 5lb?? I've seen some beds that are 1" of 4lb memory foam over 2" of 5lb memory foam.

Is the thickness of the memory foam the same on the small and medium size bolster bed? My dog is overweight but because beds are oversized he only needs a small size bed. Please let me know ASAP as I would like to order a bed very soon.

Also, is sage the only color available?
I would like the other therapeutic bed because I don't need the absorbent liner but I don't like the material on that bed so will have to go with this choice. Unless you have another option for me. Please let me know.

Hi, I once bought a brand name memory foam mattress topper for myself but couldn't use it due to the strong glue-like smell. I'm wondering if the memory foam used for your dog beds have a chemical-like smell to them?

Can I order additional inserts for the super-absorbent therapeutic bolster bed?
We ordered this bed thinking that it would be as thick and firm as our previous bolster bed. But this one barely fills the cover. Are there therapeutic inserts that I could add to this to make it just as thick and comfortable for my dogs?
